18-20-year old young adults can now take the MN permit to carry/concealed class and apply for and receive a Minnesota Permit to Carry from their County Sheriff as of Monday, April 21st, 2025. The United States Supreme Court refused to take up Keith Ellison’s appeal on Monday, April 21st, 2025, ending this litigation with a resounding victory for the Second Amendment rights of young adults in Minnesota.
